love poem
and though at times of anger we rip
and claw at this connection of souls
the bond is too great - and I thank you
for yielding to reel me back to you -
just as I will always bend to slacken
the cord - for our love lays in the detail -
in the listening - for even after all
it is to you I want to return - for you
are the wisest of women - no one
can match you - nor can they hold me
as you hold me - I will not let them -
