I'm starting up a union
send what subs you can
women can join of course
though they'll be called
the working man
but we'll not discriminate
they breastfeed in the meetings
campaign the tax on the curse
and most certainly not
have separate seating
this union will concentrate
on getting justice case by case
we'll not bother with categories
but treat all members with fraternity
oh I know it's a crime
to use such words
in this age of sectionality
but empire building's not my style
I prefer to deal with reality
and if we disagree on stuff
we'll sit and talk it out
be rational among ourselves
and not resort to shouting slogans
as meaningless as air
for the poorest and the meekest
they shall have the chair
